Description
International students are eligible to apply for the VUB Scholarships for the European Master of Science in Photonics. Additionally, several full scholarships of 10,000 EUR annually will be awarded by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel to help with the living expenses associated with studying in Brussels.
Basically, Globally-focused Vrije Universiteit Brussel is a university in Brussels, the center of Europe. VUB aims to contribute to a more robust culture for the future in a productive and involved way by providing specialized, superior research and education. All applicants intending to enroll at Vrije Universiteit Brussel will be able to demonstrate their technical proficiency during the entry review preceding final acceptance. After our program’s approval, each funding request will be evaluated for competency and encouragement.

Benefits of The Vrije Universiteit Brussel Scholarships
- Initially, it is anticipated that this scholarship will cover living expenses associated with studying in Brussels.
- Three 1000 euro entry scholarships will be awarded at the start of the first semester of the master’s program. The three students with the highest rankings based on our selection criteria are the recipients.
- The top three students based on their academic standing following semester one will receive three 1500 euro continuation scholarships at the beginning of the second semester of the first year of the MSc.
- Additionally, the Continuation Scholarship will also be considered for students who were not awarded the Entry Scholarship.
- Moreover, at the beginning of the MSc’s second year, one 5,000 Euro Excellence Scholarship will be given out.
Eligibility Criteria For The Vrije Universiteit Brussel Scholarships
- In essence, all nations across the world are eligible.
- English is one of the required languages. requirements in language for students from abroad.
- Additionally, you are not required to take the language test if you have successfully finished at least one year (60 credits) of secondary or postsecondary education in which English was the primary language of instruction (a formal certificate is required).
- Specifically, you can always submit the proof of English proficiency or APS certificate later rather than missing the deadline if it is not available before then.
