For international students, the Queensland University Scholarships 2024–2025 are now available. Therefore, these bursaries are available for both undergraduate and graduate studies. Additionally, the value of these awards is up to $10,000.
Scholarships are available for exceptional international students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate coursework programs in science at UQ. UQ invites applications from those who will add diversity to the university and embrace diversity and inclusiveness. Additionally, the Faculty of Science wants to promote gender parity in applicants.

Benefits of The Queensland University Scholarship
- A $3000 scholarship is awarded.
- Scholarship awardees must fulfill the requirements listed above, as applicable, at the payment date in order for their awards to be paid.
- Following the academic census date in the first semester of study, UQ will pay the scholarship recipients.
- Moreover, each recipient’s designated Australian bank account will receive payment from UQ.
Eligibility Criteria For The Queensland University Scholarship
Science International Scholarship:
- Submit all supporting paperwork by the scholarship deadline in order to satisfy the requirements for a UQ offer of admission to an authorized program.
- As part of your application for the UQ program, demonstrate a strong academic record.
- In order to be accepted into a program run by the UQ Faculty of Science; the program must last more than a year (full-time).
- Additionally, the applicants should enroll at UQ for the first time in a semester.
- Moreover, students enrolled in exchange, non-award, or study abroad programs are not eligible.
- Each scholarship recipient is required to:
- Start their studies during the semester specified in the UQ offer letter.
- Provide an acceptable photo and a testimonial for publishing.
- Permit UQ to publish their name, photo, and name of their degree program.
UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship
- Initially, a minimum ATAR of 99.90 (or an equal) was attained.
- Year 12 was finished in 2023 or 2022 (if a gap year was taken).
And one of the following:- Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or overseas student who is completing or has finished Years 11 and 12 in Australia. Australian permanent resident.
Then you:

- Basically, applicants have not undertaken any tertiary coursework prior to their studies in Years 11–12.
- students have filed for a tertiary position through QTAC, and as of December 18, 2023, UQ is listed as your first QTAC preference.
- Furthermore, students plan to enroll full-time in a UQ undergraduate program in 2024 (or 2025 if you’re delaying your tertiary place).
