For overseas students, the MOFCOM Scholarship 2024–2025 is fully financed. These fellowships are offered for doctoral and master’s degrees. The value of MOFCOM Scholarships for International Students is 36,000 RMB for master’s degree holders and 42,000 RMB for doctoral degree holders annually.
To provide top-level professionals working in the fields of government, trade, foreign affairs, agriculture, technology, education, culture, and health with an interdisciplinary education, the scholarship offers one-year or two-year master’s programs in addition to three-year doctoral programs. This fosters intellectual capacity and helps recipient countries’ economies and societies flourish.

Eligibility Criteria For The MOFCOM Scholarship
- All nations across the world are eligible.
- The applicants must be well-off non-Chinese nationals from developing nations who were born after September 1, 1976, and are under 45 years old.
- Requires at least three years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates with relevant professional experience or work history who are currently employed will be given preference.
- The candidates must speak and write English fluently and use it for specialized coursework. (Reference Standard: new TOEFL 80 or above; IELTS 6.0 or above in overall band score).
- It is necessary to have a medical report or health certificate from a nearby public hospital.
- It is not possible for students who have studied in China or who have been accepted into another Chinese government scholarship program to apply.
