Description
International students can apply for fully financed scholarships from the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) for the academic year 2024–2025. These scholarships are limited to master’s degree holders. This scholarship provides a £15,609 award for living expenses in addition to covering all school fees.
The University of Oxford recognizes the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies as an independent center. It was founded in 1985 with the goal of promoting academic research on Islam and the Islamic world. The Centre serves as a hub for knowledge exchange between the Islamic and Western academic communities.

Eligibility Criteria For The Islamic Studies Scholarships
- Initially, English is the required language.
- Additionally, you have to be applying to begin a brand-new, full-time Oxford master’s or DPhil programme.
- You should plan to finish your course with the intention of returning to your home country.
- Therefore, academic merit will be the criterion used to award scholarships.
- It is desirable that you plan to pursue an education in an area that stems from the Islamic tradition, is relevant to the Muslim community, or both.
- Candidates applying for part-time, non-matriculated, or postgraduate certificate or diploma programs are not eligible for this award.
- Candidates will not be eligible for this scholarship if they have deferred offers to begin in 2024–2025.
