Applications are now being accepted for the 2023–2024 academic year by the ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Program (ESOP) in Switzerland. The Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Program (ESOP), which offers financial help, mentoring, and access to a network of the ETH Foundation, supports candidates for master’s degrees. The scholarship covers each student’s living and educational costs throughout the Master’s program.

Eligibility Criteria For The Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Program in Switzerland
- Basically, anyone from any country may apply.
- Additionally, a performance that ranks in the top 10% of bachelor’s degree programs is strong. (A grade).
- Moreover, if you have a Master’s degree or are currently enrolled in ETH Zurich’s Master’s program, you are not qualified for the ESOP.
Required Documents
- For your master’s degree, you must submit a preliminary thesis proposal.
- (Pre-proposal recommendations)The pre-proposal for your master’s thesis must be written by you and adhere to recognized standards for scientific citation.
- Applicants who plagiarize or intentionally or negligently supply misleading information will be disqualified from admission.
- If your study program does not require references, your ESOP application must include two professors as references.
- Please ensure you can be reached at the number in your CV because the selection process may involve a phone/VC interview in February.
