For the academic year 2024–2025, the government of the Netherlands is offering NL scholarships to international students. This fellowship offers the recipient €5,000 towards tuition costs and is accessible for undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Non-EEA international students can apply for the NL Scholarship to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees at Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences in Holland. The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science offers the Holland Scholarship, which is given to deserving students.

Eligibility Criteria For The NL Scholarship in Netherlands
- You are submitting an application to one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s program.
- Initially, you are not an EEA national.
- You are in compliance with the institution of your choice’s specific standards. These are available on the institution’s website.
- English is a required language.
- International Students from Non-EEA Nations are Eligible.
- Additionally, you are not an EEA national.
- You don’t hold a degree from a Dutch educational institution.
- Write a letter of inspiration to the institution in which you, taking into account both your academic and extracurricular accomplishments (such as volunteer work), explain why you are a talented student. The letter should not exceed 500 words.
