Description of Opportunity
The Italian government offers scholarships through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Collaboration (MAECI) in order to support Italy’s international economic system and advance international collaboration in the arts, sciences, and technology. The scholarship program is open to both foreigners and Italian residents abroad (IRE). We provide financial aid for the 2023–2024 academic year. Giving students who desire to study in Italy financial aid is the goal of the scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded by the MAECI in a competitive manner. Among the criteria for selection are academic quality, financial necessity, internal motivation, and Italian language proficiency. The MAECI prioritizes applicants who have never before been awarded a scholarship from the Italian government when awarding its small number of scholarships each year.
The Scholarship Programme for Foreign Citizens was established by the Italian government to boost the number of foreign students who study in Italy. The program gives scholarships for three, six, or nine months in an Italian university or higher education institution, depending on the type of degree.
