Description

Application Process

Mid-career professionals who have demonstrated leadership skills and a commitment to public service and who have at least five years of full-time professional experience in their field are eligible for the program. Additionally, candidates need to possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

The Humphrey Fellowship application procedure also entails a number of processes, such as an interview with the embassy or consulate and preliminary application screening by the US embassy or consulate in the applicant’s country of residency.

How to Apply?

Interested applicants must submit an application via their country’s Binational Fulbright Commission or the Public Affairs Division of the U.S. Embassy. There are application deadlines that vary per nation. Candidates must supply:

  • On transcripts, list the courses you have taken and your marks.
  • Additionally, only upload diplomas if the transcripts don’t show that the degree was attained.
  • Moreover, all questions must receive comprehensive responses; English essay responses must entirely address the prompt.
  • In addition, two letters of recommendation in English, one from the applicant’s present employer.
  • Verify that the applicant has uploaded only true, official transcripts.
Once the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board has given its approval, the U.S. Embassies and Binational Fulbright Commissions will inform applicants of their status.
