Description
For international students, the Arturo Falaschi Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024–2025 are a fully supported fellowship. In addition, the fellowship lasts for two years, with a potential one-year extension. Furthermore, the Fellowships include a stipend, health insurance, and other benefits in a highly attractive package.
Additionally, upon completion, the top fellows will also be qualified to apply for ICGEB Early Career Research Grants to finance their own research programs as junior principal investigators once they return to an ICGEB Member State.
Initially, it contains five different categories of Ph.D. and Postdoctoral prizes, both long and short-term, that are accessible to researchers who are citizens of ICGEB Member States to conduct research in Trieste, New Delhi, or Cape Town.

Benefits of ICGEB Fellowship
- Trieste, Italy ($2,000), New Delhi, India ($1,590), and Cape Town, South Africa ($18,750) are the three cities that get monthly stipends.
- The fellowship covers the costs of the participant’s initial trip to the ICGEB lab from their home country as well as their return trip at the end of the fellowship.
- Throughout the fellowship, there is reimbursement for medical expenses.
- The research group’s funding will cover all expenses related to research.

Eligibility Criteria For The Arturo Falaschi Postdoctoral Fellowships
- Applicants must be citizens of an ICGEB Member State and are not eligible to apply for fellowships to be completed in their home country unless they have been working abroad for at least the previous three years at the time of application.
- Candidates should possess a recent PhD in the life sciences.
- Additionally, English is a required language.
- Specifically, candidates under 35 years old are preferred.
- Moreover, the candidate must have a minimum of three years of research experience.
