Description
The ENS de Lyon’s Ampère Scholarships of Excellence 2024–2025 are fully financed master’s scholarships available to overseas students who wish to enroll in one of the approved master’s programs. Additionally, the monthly award for this scholarship is €1,000.
Excellent overseas students may apply for scholarships from the ENS de Lyon and its partners to register in their master’s programs in the exact sciences, the arts, humanities, and social sciences, with the exception of FEADép Master’s programs. Excellent international candidates can enroll in one of the approved master’s programs offered at ENS de Lyon thanks to the Ampère Scholarships of Excellence.

Benefits of The Ampère Excellence Scholarships
- Each year, about 20 scholarships are awarded.
- All master’s programs in the exact sciences, the arts, and the humanities and social sciences are eligible, with the exception of FEADéP master’s programs. Consult the Ampère scholarship guidelines (document on the right).
- Furthermore, 1,000 euros each month for one academic year, with the possibility of renewal.
Eligibility Criteria For Ampère Excellence Scholarships
- Foreign nationals born on or after January 1, 1997, who are no older than 26 years old, must apply.
- Candidates for admission to the master’s program must show documentation proving they have earned a license (equal to 180 ECTS European credits) or a diploma/level equivalent.
- Candidates for Masters Year 2 admission must demonstrate that they have successfully completed Masters Year 1 (240 ECTS European credits), or have earned an equivalent degree or level.
- Moreover, English is a required language.
- Furthermore, all nations in the world are eligible.
