Eligibility For The ADB Japan Scholarship

• The candidate must be a citizen of an ADB member nation.
• Candidate at the time of application, not older than 35.
• The age restriction is 45 years in exceptional situations and appropriate programs for top officials and managers.
• A stellar academic record and a bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent.
• Candidates must have at least two years of full-time employment.
• The applicants must consent to return home after getting their degrees.

Application Process

• Before the deadline, the applicant must email all required materials. “ADB Application_Name (applicant’s name)” should be the subject line of the email.
• Find a supervisor for your graduation thesis and confirm that person wishes to do so (using the link in the application form).
• The applicant must gather all necessary materials, with the exception of the reference letter, and submit them via the apply now button on the online application form (Google).
• The recommender should email the letters of recommendation with the subject line “ADB Recommendation Letter_Name(applicant’s name)”.
• In the middle of February, the faculty will notify everyone after reviewing their documents. The original documents (apart from the recommendation letter) from the successful applicants must be submitted, together with the supervisor selection and the supplementary documents indicated below;
