Qualifications for the University of Southampton’s Presidential Scholarships:
- Candidates must be admitted to the University for the 2024–2025 academic year in order to pursue doctoral research.
- A first-class or comparable undergraduate or integrated master’s degree, or a distinction overall with a distinction in the project for standalone masters, is required of eligible candidates.
- NARIC and other standard comparators can be used to show equivalency.
- The time frame for scholarship recipients to begin their doctoral studies is August 1–December 1, 2024.
The scholarship’s value
Foreign students typically have to pay higher tuition than UK citizens. You will only need to pay the same fees as students in the UK because this scholarship will cover the additional expense.
